Indulge in the ultimate comfort food with this luxurious White Truffle Lobster Mac n’ Cheese recipe. Creamy, cheesy, and loaded with tender lobster meat, this gourmet twist on a classic dish is guaranteed to impress your guests.

Ingredients

Scale

Macaroni:

  • 1 lb elbow macaroni

Cheese Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp white cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Additions:

  • 1 1/2 cups cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 12 teaspoons white truffle oil (to taste)

Topping:

  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and butter a 9×13-inch baking dish. Cook macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons butter. Whisk in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes to form a roux. Gradually whisk in milk and cream until smooth and slightly thickened, about 5–6 minutes. Stir in Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add cheddar, Gruyère, and Parmesan cheeses, stirring until melted and creamy. Fold in cooked pasta, lobster meat, and white truffle oil. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  4. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish. In a small bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with 2 tablespoons melted butter, then sprinkle evenly over the top.
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes until bubbly and golden. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use truffle oil sparingly—its flavor is strong.
  • You can also add a splash of white wine to the sauce for extra depth.
