Description

This White Chocolate-Strawberry Tiramisu is a delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert, combining creamy mascarpone, smooth white chocolate, and fresh strawberries layered between orange juice-soaked ladyfingers. Light, luscious, and bursting with fruity freshness, it’s perfect for special occasions or a refreshing summer treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Cream Mixture

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (4 oz) mascarpone cheese
  • 9 oz white baking chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar, divided
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Layers

  • 2 packages (3 oz each) ladyfingers, split
  • â…” cup orange juice
  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Optional

  • Chocolate syrup (for drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Whipped Cream: In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Set aside carefully to maintain its light texture.
  2. Make the Creamy Mixture: Beat the softened cream cheese and mascarpone cheese together until fluffy. Gradually add the melted and cooled white chocolate, half of the confectioners’ sugar (½ cup), and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth. Gently fold in half of the whipped cream ensuring a light and airy consistency.
  3. Layer the Tiramisu: Brush half of the ladyfingers with half of the orange juice and arrange them in a 13Ă—9-inch dish to form the first layer. Spread half of the creamy mixture over the ladyfingers, then evenly distribute half of the sliced strawberries on top.
  4. Add the Second Layer: Brush the remaining ladyfingers with the rest of the orange juice and place them over the strawberry layer. Mix the remaining ½ cup confectioners’ sugar into the remaining cream mixture, then gently fold in the remaining whipped cream. Spread this mixture evenly over the second layer of ladyfingers.
  5. Top & Chill: Arrange the remaining strawberries on top of the second cream layer. Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap or foil, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, allowing the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
  6. Serve: Before serving, optionally drizzle with chocolate syrup for an extra touch of decadence and flavor.

Notes

  • Ensure the white chocolate is melted and cooled to prevent melting the creamy mixture when combined.
  • Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor and texture.
  • Refrigeration time is key for the tiramisu to set and for flavors to blend perfectly.
  • Ladyfingers soak quickly in the orange juice; brush them lightly to avoid sogginess.
  • For a less sweet version, reduce the confectioners’ sugar by a quarter cup.
