Parsley:

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook Noodles: Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
  3. Prepare Sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic, cook for 1 minute. Whisk in flour, cook for 1 minute. Slowly add milk and broth, whisk until thickened. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Mix Filling: In a bowl, combine ricotta, egg, Parmesan, and 1 cup mozzarella.
  5. Assemble: Layer sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, chicken, spinach, and mozzarella in the baking dish. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles, sauce, and mozzarella on top.
  6. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes until golden. Rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley.
