Description

This Spinach Artichoke Dip is the ultimate comforting appetizer that’s perfect for gatherings or a cozy night in. Creamy, cheesy, and packed with flavor, it’s a crowd-pleaser that’s easy to make and even easier to enjoy.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 10 ounces frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 14 ounces canned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

Cheese Mixture:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté onion and garlic: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the onion until softened, about 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
  3. Add spinach and artichokes: Stir in the spinach and chopped artichokes, cooking until warmed through.
  4. Mix cheese mixture: In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
  5. Combine ingredients: Fold in the spinach and artichoke mixture until well combined.
  6. Bake: Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish, top with remaining mozzarella, and bake for 25 minutes until hot and bubbly with a golden top.
  7. Serve: Serve warm with tortilla chips, bread, or veggies.

Notes
