Seasoning:

  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Additional:

  • 1/2 cup beer or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Rinse and Prepare Shrimp: Rinse shrimp and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Cook Aromatics: In a large skillet, melt butter with olive oil. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Add Seasonings: Stir in Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Cook to bloom flavors.
  4. Cook Shrimp: Add beer or broth, bring to simmer. Add shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through.
