Description

These Soft & Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies are a classic treat that combines wholesome oats, plump raisins, and a touch of cinnamon for a delightful treat any time of day.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare baking sheets: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla: Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
  4. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in oats, raisins, and walnuts: Mix in oats, raisins, and walnuts if using.
  7. Bake: Scoop dough onto baking sheets and bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
