Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch round cake pan.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, mix applesauce, oil, eggs, and vanilla. In a measuring cup, mix almond milk and vinegar.
- Blend: Combine wet and dry ingredients, then slowly add coffee.
- Bake: Pour batter into the pan and bake for 28–32 minutes.
- Cool: Let the cake cool before serving.
