Lasagna Noodles:

  • 9 lasagna noodles

Seafood Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
  • 1/2 pound bay scallops
  • 1/2 pound imitation crab meat or lump crab meat, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook the noodles: Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  3. Make the seafood sauce: Melt butter in a skillet, sauté onion and garlic, stir in flour, then gradually whisk in milk and cream. Add Parmesan, seasonings, and seafood. Cook until just done.
  4. Assemble the lasagna: Layer noodles, seafood sauce, and mozzarella in a baking dish. Repeat for three layers, ending with sauce and mozzarella on top.
  5. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Rest and serve: Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley and serve.
