- 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup golden syrup or light corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Additional Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries (chopped)
- 1/3 cup finely chopped dried apricots or raisins
- White chocolate (for decorating)
- Red and green candy decorations or fondant holly leaves and berries (optional)
Instructions
- Melt Ingredients: In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter, chocolate chips, and golden syrup together until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine: Add the chopped dried fruit and Rice Krispies, folding until well coated. Allow to cool slightly, then shape into small balls.
- Decorate: Place the balls on a tray and let them firm up. Drizzle white chocolate over each ball and decorate with candies or fondant.
- Serve: Let set before serving.
