Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the casserole.

- Add Chicken Layer: Spread the prepared chicken mixture evenly over the layer of hash browns.
- Pour Egg Mixture: Carefully pour the egg and milk mixture over the chicken layer, allowing it to distribute evenly.
- Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top of the casserole to add a golden, melty crust.
- Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes or until the eggs are set and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Cool and Serve: Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving to allow it to set perfectly.
Notes
- You can substitute ranch dressing with a homemade mixture of mayonnaise and herbs for a fresher taste.
- Use frozen hash browns directly without thawing to save prep time.
- Add more vegetables like mushrooms or spinach for added flavor and nutrition.
- Check for doneness by inserting a knife in the center; it should come out clean when the casserole is fully cooked.
- Refrigerate leftovers promptly and consume within 3 days for best freshness.
