- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare pan: Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, combine melted butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until fully combined.
- Add chocolate chips: Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Bake: Spread the dough in the prepared pan, smoothing the top. Bake for 22–25 minutes until edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
- Cool and slice: Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
