Ingredients

Scale

Ground Beef Mixture:

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Pasta and Cheese:

  • 1 (24-ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 12 ounces penne pasta, uncooked
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook Ground Beef: In a large pot, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
