Feta:

  • 1 block feta cheese (about 8 oz)

Chili-Honey Mixture:

  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes or chili flakes
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice

Additional:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme or oregano leaves
  • 1 tbsp chopped toasted walnuts or pistachios (optional)
  • crusty bread or crackers for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Bake Feta: Place the feta block in a small oven-safe dish or skillet. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 10–12 minutes, until softened and lightly golden.
  3. Prepare Chili-Honey: While the feta bakes, combine honey, chili flakes, and lemon juice in a small pan over low heat until runny and fragrant.
  4. Drizzle and Serve: Remove the feta from the oven, drizzle with the chili-honey mixture, sprinkle with herbs and nuts. Serve immediately with bread or crackers.

Notes

  • For a smokier flavor, use hot smoked paprika with chili flakes.
  • You can also grill the feta instead of baking for a different texture.
