Description

Elsa’s Chocolate Dipped Macaroons are a delightful treat perfect for any occasion. These sweet, coconut-packed macaroons are dipped in rich chocolate for a decadent finish.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • ¾ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 large egg whites

For Dipping:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Whip Egg Whites: In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into coconut mixture.
  4. Bake: Drop mixture onto baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Melt Chocolate: Melt chocolate and coconut oil together, then dip cooled macaroons.
  6. Chill: Place dipped macaroons in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes to set.
