- 2 packs instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- ¼ cup water (reserved from cooking noodles)
Garnish:
- sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook Noodles: Cook ramen noodles slightly under by 1 minute. Reserve ¼ cup of noodle water, then drain.
- Prepare Sauce: Heat sesame oil in a skillet, sauté garlic, then add soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sriracha, and brown sugar. Pour in reserved noodle water and simmer.
- Combine: Add noodles to skillet, toss to coat in sauce. Cook until noodles are done and sauce thickens.
- Serve: Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Add stir-fried veggies, tofu, or cooked eggs for added protein and nutrients.
- Adjust spice level by increasing or omitting the sriracha.
