Ingredients
Scale
Chicken:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Sauce:
- ¼ cup Dijon mustard
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme (or 1 tablespoon fresh)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Garnish:
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Coat the chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish and pour the honey Dijon sauce evenly over the top, spreading to coat each piece.
- Bake: Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C). Spoon some of the sauce over the chicken halfway through baking for a golden glaze.
- Rest and serve: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Spoon additional sauce from the pan over the chicken and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
