Description

Easter Dirt Cake is a fun and festive dessert perfect for spring celebrations. Layers of crushed Oreos, creamy pudding, and fluffy whipped topping create a delicious no-bake treat. Topped with green coconut ‘grass’ and colorful Easter candies, this dessert is sure to be a hit with both kids and adults.

  • 1 package (14 ounces) Golden Oreos, crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

For the Filling:

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 packages (3.4 ounces each) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 1 container (12 ounces) whipped topping, thawed

For Decoration:

  • 1 cup shredded coconut, tinted green with food coloring
  • Easter candies such as chocolate eggs, jelly beans, and Peeps

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: Crush Oreos into fine crumbs. In a bowl, mix crushed Oreos with softened butter.
  2. Make the Filling: Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar until smooth. In a separate bowl, whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thickened. Fold in whipped topping. Combine pudding mixture with cream cheese mixture.
  3. Assemble the Cake: Spread half of the crushed Oreos in a dish. Top with pudding-cream cheese mixture, then remaining Oreos. Chill for at least 2 hours.
  4. Decorate and Serve: Before serving, top with green coconut ‘grass’ and Easter candies.
