Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch cake pan. Combine dates, water, and baking soda. Let sit.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: Whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix into wet ingredients.
- Finish Batter: Stir in date mixture and walnuts. Pour into pan.
