Chicken:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Sauce:
- 1 packet (0.7 oz) Italian dressing mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened and cubed
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup dry white wine (or more broth)
- 1 tablespoon butter
To Serve:
- 12 oz angel hair pasta
- Chopped parsley or grated Parmesan for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Chicken: Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Make Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, chicken broth, white wine, and Italian dressing mix until smooth.
- Cook: Pour sauce over the chicken, cover, and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours until chicken is tender.
- Prepare Pasta: Cook angel hair pasta according to package directions.
- Finish Dish: Shred or slice chicken, stir sauce, and serve over pasta. Garnish with parsley or Parmesan.
