Chicken Tenders:
- 1 1/2 pounds chicken tenders or boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into strips)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
Breadcrumb Coating:
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Nonstick cooking spray or oil for baking
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: Combine chicken tenders, buttermilk, and half the ranch seasoning mix in a bowl. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
- Prepare the Coating: Mix Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, remaining ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
- Coat the Chicken: Remove chicken from marinade and coat each piece in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
- Bake: Place coated tenders on a lined baking sheet, spray with cooking spray, and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Broil: For extra crispiness, broil the tenders for 1–2 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve with ranch dressing, honey mustard, or buffalo sauce for dipping.
- Air fryer method: Cook at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.
- You can also use Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs for extra flavor.
