Chicken Tenders:

  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken tenders or boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into strips)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix

Breadcrumb Coating:

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Nonstick cooking spray or oil for baking

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: Combine chicken tenders, buttermilk, and half the ranch seasoning mix in a bowl. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
  2. Prepare the Coating: Mix Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, remaining ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
  3. Coat the Chicken: Remove chicken from marinade and coat each piece in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
  4. Bake: Place coated tenders on a lined baking sheet, spray with cooking spray, and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Broil: For extra crispiness, broil the tenders for 1–2 minutes before serving.

  • Serve with ranch dressing, honey mustard, or buffalo sauce for dipping.
  • Air fryer method: Cook at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.
