Dough:

  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

Filling:

  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • olive oil spray
  • marinara sauce for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Divide pizza dough into 4 equal portions and roll each into a 6–7 inch circle.
  3. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder until well combined.
  4. Spoon filling onto half of each dough circle, leaving a border around the edge.
  5. Fold dough over to form a half-moon and press edges together. Seal by crimping with a fork.
  6. Brush tops with beaten egg and lightly spray with olive oil.
  7. Place calzones in the air fryer basket in a single layer (cook in batches if needed). Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping if desired.

  • For added texture, sprinkle the tops with extra Parmesan before air frying.
