- 2 tablespoons brine from pepperoncini jar
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts: Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Sear chicken: Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Make sauce: Sauté garlic, then add chicken broth, heavy cream, pepperoncini slices, brine, and oregano. Simmer until thickened.
- Add Parmesan: Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Combine: Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Garnish and serve: Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
