  • 8 oz lump crab meat
  • 8 oz cooked shrimp (peeled, deveined, and chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 small red bell pepper diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (optional topping)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 2-quart baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic.
  3. Combine rice, crab, shrimp, mayonnaise, sour cream, egg, lemon juice, Old Bay, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fold in sautéed vegetables, cheeses. Pour into dish, add breadcrumbs if desired.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes until bubbly. Garnish with parsley.
