Crab and Shrimp Casserole Ingredients:
- 8 oz lump crab meat
- 8 oz cooked shrimp (peeled, deveined, and chopped)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 1 small red bell pepper diced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 large egg (beaten)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (optional topping)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 2-quart baking dish.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic.
- Combine rice, crab, shrimp, mayonnaise, sour cream, egg, lemon juice, Old Bay, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in sautéed vegetables, cheeses. Pour into dish, add breadcrumbs if desired.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until bubbly. Garnish with parsley.
