- 2 cups Confectioners’ Sugar (no substitutions recommended)
- 1/2 cup Butter (can be replaced with coconut oil)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (swap with almond extract if desired)
- 1/4 cup Water (use milk for a creamier flavor if desired)
Add-Ins and Extras
- 1 cup Edible Sprinkles (choose seasonal shapes)
- 1/2 cup Crushed Nuts (incorporate for added texture)
- 1 Silicone Mold (use for shaping the melts)
Instructions
- Prepare Workspace: Clear your counter and gather all your ingredients to ensure you have everything ready before starting the recipe.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, thoroughly blend the Jello powder and confectioners’ sugar until well combined and evenly mixed.
- Melt Butter: Gently melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat to prevent burning, then allow it to cool slightly before using.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: Add the vanilla extract and water to the dry ingredient mixture. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and uniform in texture.
- Shape the Melts: Form the mixture into small balls or discs, or press into silicone molds as desired. If using molds, gently press the mixture in for shape consistency. Optionally, add edible sprinkles or crushed nuts at this stage for added texture and decoration.
- Chill and Set: Place the shaped candy melts onto parchment-lined baking sheets and refrigerate for about one hour or until they are firm and set.
Notes
- For a creamier flavor, substitute the water with milk.
- Coconut oil can be used as a butter substitute for a dairy-free option.
- Customize flavors by mixing different Jello powder variants.
- Add edible sprinkles or crushed nuts to the molds for extra decoration and texture.
- Use silicone molds for consistent shapes and easy removal.
