- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons butter (melted)
Cream Cheese Icing:
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 tablespoons butter (softened)
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2–3 tablespoons milk (to thin)
Instructions
- French Toast: In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Dip each bread slice in the mixture.
- Cooking: Melt butter on a skillet. Cook soaked bread slices until golden brown, then repeat.
- Cinnamon Sugar Coating: Mix sugar and cinnamon. Brush toast with butter, then coat in sugar mixture.
- Cream Cheese Icing: Beat cream cheese and butter, add sugar, vanilla, and milk. Drizzle over warm French toast.
