  • 4 black tea bags
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cups cold water

For the Berry Purée:

  • 1 cup frozen cherries
  • 1 cup mixed berries (such as strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

For Serving:

  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint and extra berries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Tea: Place the tea bags in a large heatproof pitcher and pour in the boiling water. Let steep for 5–7 minutes, then remove the tea bags and discard. Stir in honey or sugar until dissolved.
  2. Make the Berry Purée: Blend frozen cherries, mixed berries, and lemon juice until smooth. Strain the purée through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds if desired.
  3. Combine and Chill: Stir the berry purée into the brewed tea. Add cold water and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  4. Serve: Pour over ice and garnish with fresh mint and extra berries if desired.
