  • 3 cups frozen diced hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook Beef: Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Drain excess grease.
  3. Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine beef mixture with potatoes, soup, sour cream, 1 cup of cheddar, milk, and butter.
  4. Bake: Pour mixture into dish, top with remaining cheddar, and bake for 35–40 minutes until bubbly and golden.
