Casserole:
- 3 cups frozen diced hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook Beef: Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Drain excess grease.
- Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine beef mixture with potatoes, soup, sour cream, 1 cup of cheddar, milk, and butter.
- Bake: Pour mixture into dish, top with remaining cheddar, and bake for 35–40 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Serve: Rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
